As we enter the fall and the winter months and into the flu season, along with the dreaded overlap of COVID-19, Emirates Glass liaised with Aster Hospital, Jebel Ali to provide Flu Vaccinations to the Executive Staff and the factory workers.

The doctors’ team advised that the flu shots are safe. The flu vaccine reduces the risk of developing influenza and prevents illness. They also recommended that since this flu seasons coincides with corona virus spread wearing a mask could also help prevent the spread of the flu in addition to continue washing hands and staying 6 feet apart to slow the spread of the virus.

A total of 304 flu shots were given in a safe and socially distanced manner to help keep the numbers low and down. We are also thankful to the Aster Hospital for their time, support and guidance.
