Glass and Glazing Federation conference focuses on latest technologies, trends

Dubai, October 22, 2016: Dubai Investments PJSC [DFM: DIC], the leading, diversified investment company listed on the Dubai Financial Market, and its glass subsidiary Emirates Glass LLC – one of the largest processors of flat architectural glass in the region, hosted the annual Glass and Glazing Federation [GGF] MENA Technical Forum in Dubai on Thursday.

The one-day forum, held at Dubai Investments headquarters in Dubai Investments Park, focused on latest glass processing techniques, the international standards on glass specifications, fire glazing and regulations in the UAE, use of sealants, installation of laminated glass and structural interlayers, among others, presented by specialists and experts from leading glass companies and related industries.

Emirates Glass supplies over 12,000 square metres for top projects.

Dubai, June 11, 2016: Dubai Investments PJSC, the leading, diversified investments conglomerate listed on the Dubai Financial Market, has announced that its subsidiary Emirates Glass LLC, one of the largest processors of flat architectural glass in the region and part of Glass LLC – the first glass holding company in Middle East, has secured two projects worth AED 1,250,000 in Pakistan, reinforcing its growing reputation in markets across the globe.

Emirates Glass, which enjoys market leadership with its high performance, energy-saving, reflective coated glass products, is supplying 7,000 square metres for the telecommunications leaders Telenor Head Office in Islamabad with an order value of AED 350,000 and 5,000 square metres for Bakht Tower in Karachi with an order value of AED 900,000.

Companies unravel sustainable solutions at Façade Design & Engineering Summit

Dubai, September 8, 2014: Dubai Investments PJSC [DI] subsidiaries Emirates Glass – one of the largest processors of flat architectural glass in region, and Emirates Insolaire LLC – a pioneer in new solar technologies, have unveiled the latest industry innovations to enhance the design appeal of building façades at Façade Design & Engineering UAE Summit, currently under way in Dubai.

At the Summit, Emirates Glass is showcasing its eco-friendly products while Emirates Insolaire is unravelling its sustainable and aesthetic coloured solar panels – the first-of-its-kind in the world. The Summit, being held at Amwaj Rotana, Dubai, continues till September 9.

Emirates Glass and Emirates Insolaire also generated a lot of interest and enquiries as part of its participation in the Summit, which brought together top government officials and major companies in the region, specifically dealing in façade engineering, architecture and consultancy.
